Corey Corcoran is an artist and illustrator based in Boston.


Trained as a painter, Corey's recent work combines traditional and digital drawing techniques along with sculpture, video, and animation.

Corey’s artwork has been exhibited in galleries including Lamontagne Gallery, Suffolk University Art Gallery, deCordova Sculpture Park + Museum, MUSA Collective, Montserrat College of Art, kijidome, and featured in publications such as Huffington Post, The Boston Globe, Art New England, Artscope Magazine, BOOOOOOOM and Beautiful Decay.

His animations have screened on the 80 foot-tall outdoor marquee at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the 160 foot-wide video wall inside the center, as well as a digital billboard opposite Fenway Park.

Corey has been a featured illustrator of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Illustration clients include Medium;  WMBR 88.1FM in Cambridge, MA; and Boston Center for the Arts.

︎Green Dream, kijidome in Boston, MA (2014) A series sponsored by kijidome, an experimental project space and artist-run collaborative in Boston. “All Levels,” a video combining hand-drawn imagery and live-action video, screened as part of the project.
︎In Response, The Lilypad in Cambridge, MA (2013) A series which paired local visual artists and musicians together to share their processes and create new work. The series culminated in a screening of existing and event-specific animated work set to the neo-soul sounds of songwriter Kim Mayo and a ten-piece live band at the Lilypad in Cambridge, MA.
